Assessment tool

Version 1.0
Issue Date: May 2024

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to prepare and rig platform air-drop loads in support of ground activities.

It includes preparing, rigging and completing platform air-drop task.

This unit applies to persons working as Defence Aerial Delivery Specialists as part of an aerial delivery crew, often in conjunction with the crew of supporting aircraft, tasked for air-drop operations.

The skills and knowledge described in this unit must be applied within the legislative, regulatory and policy environment in which they are carried out. Organisational policies and procedures must be consulted and adhered to.

Persons undertaking this unit would work in a range of contexts, under supervision, as part of a team, while performing specific tasks.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication

You may want to include more information here about the target group and the purpose of the assessments (eg formative, summative, recognition)
